Mountain Living at 49° North Mountain Resort

The Sunrise Basin development at 49° North Mountain Resort allows you to achieve your dreams of owning ski-in/ski-out property and building a home in the heart of a vibrant alpine resort. Winter sports enthusiasts can choose a single family home, share in a condominium or townhome, or enjoy multi-day visits in a resort hotel. The development will grow into an active, year-round community, serving the mountain’s loyal following and new guests, as well as honoring its legacy, and increasing its accessibility for everyone.

Sunrise Basin will allow 49° North Mountain Resort to be upgraded as the development matures. Increasing investments will allow capital improvements on the mountain, such as lodges, high-speed chairlifts, additional trails, and other resort amenities.

DEVELOPMENT

More than 50% of the 320-acre Property will remain as open space, resulting in a clustered village separated into three distinct development areas.

Alpine Glades, is the southernmost planning area and is anticipated to consist of a lodge, mixed-use condominiums and multi- plex units, and single-family residential units. The other two development areas, Sunrise Village and Silver Ridge will be developed in separate phases, adding additional residential units, an amphitheater, and a mixed-use resort village. Upon completion, the Resort may have up to 2,200 residential units, up to 800 hotel rooms and up to 360,000 square feet of commercial space to meet visitor needs. Up to 70% of the Resort’s units are intended for seasonal or visitor occupancy.

Health, wellness, and fitness over time will be a well-established theme. The residential area will expand into a beautifully planned village with alpine meadows and active play areas for informal games of all kinds. A small, outdoor performing arts amphitheater may be a part of this playful, village area. A Sports & Fitness Center is contemplated. A jogging trail around the perimeter of the park and village is also envisioned and will link with the Resort Loop Trail.

Development will occur in multiple phases: Phase I -Alpine Glades, Phase II - Sunrise Village and Phase III - Royal Ridge. As the resort develops, new home sites, multiplexes, lodges and an alpine village will take shape.

When completed, these three phases will offer a combined 2,700 housing units, several thousand square feet of retail space, full service lodges, and ski-in/ski-out access for all.

Alpine Glades, located on 50 acres at the base of the Sunrise Quad chairlift, is the first phase of the Sunrise Basin Development. Alpine Glades will provide a mix of single-family housing, duplexes, condominiums, a lodge and a resort hotel.

The initial offering in phase I will take place in 2016, when approximately 35 home sites and duplex lots will be released. These lots will all feature true ski-in/ski-out access to the Sunrise Quad chairlift (chair 4).
